DFW PFK is visiting Scottish Rite Hospital. We will be loading up wagons full of toys and walking around interacting with patients as we make out way through the hospital.

DFW PFK is headed to Fort Worth. Let's get a great turnout for this awesome event. PFK will be pairing up in groups and heading to the hospital rooms to visit with the patients and gifting them with toys. In order to preserve the patients privacy and health please do not bring your spouse or children. Please park in the 7th Ave parking garage and bring your parking ticket to get validated. To access this garage from Pennsylvania Ave turn onto 7th Ave. After the visit we will be going to Angelo's Barbecue for lunch.

DFW Pilots for Kids will be visiting Children's Health Plano for an amazing morning of gifting young patients with all sorts of toys. Following the visit we will be going to lunch at Twisted Root Burger Co. at the Shops at Legacy. Please arrive at 0945 to help set up. Hope to see you there.

DFW Pilot's For Kid's is visiting Children's Health Dallas for a fun day of making a child smile. PFK will be passing out all sorts of toys and interacting with the patients with arts and crafts, coloring and other activities. Please park in the Green parking garage, vouchers will be provided for parking. Check in at the concierge desk to receive a visitor sticker and proceed down stairs to the butterfly atrium. After the visit we will be going to lunch at the original Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse on Inwood.

December 7, 2016 Children's Health Plano Hospital
Childrens Plano was our first visit this Christmas in 2016 and it started with a bunch of pilot volunteers. We had over 27 volunteers to help pass out toys to the children. Pilots that volunteered were from, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, UPS, Southern Air, Mesa Airlines and Net Jets. We saw over 150 children and gifted them with Pillow Pets, Melissa and Doug toys, coloring books, and remote controlled helicopters. We also had a special guest, a children's book author, Janet Sever Hull, who wrote 'Which Came First". She was authgraphing her book and passing them out to the children. December 15, 2016 Scottish Rite Children's Hospital Visit
Pilots for Kids had a great visit to Scottish Rite Children's Hospital in Dallas. We had 22 pilot volunteers from American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Mesa Airlines, Corporate Pilots, and the brown team from UPS. The pilot volunteers passed out pillow pets, remote controlled helicopters, Melissa and Doug toys, and awesome balloons. We loaded up the radio flyer wagons with all the goodies and walked the halls giving the children gifts. There were huge smiles and excitement from the children as we gifted them with great toys. December 19, 2016 Cook Children's Hospital Visit
As we drew closer to Christmas we had our best turnout ever. We had over 32 pilots and volunteers to join us at Cook Children's Hospital,Fort Worth. The pilot volunteer group consisted of pilots from American Airlines, Southwest Airlines pilots and flight ops, Ameristar Cargo, Delta Airlines, Air Wisconsin, Express Jet, Net Jets, and Corporate Pilots. The visit was great with so many gifts to hand out including, Pillow Pets, Melissa and Doug toys, balloons, remote controlled helicopters and drones, make up for the teenagers and Pappas Brothers gift cards for the NICU parents. We split the pilot group into 5 or 6 groups and paired up with a child life specialist who knows the children. We loaded up with all the goodies on carts and then proceeded to the specific floor for delivery. As we made our way from one room to the next we engaged the kids and gifted them with all that we brought. The smiles and laughter that we saw from these kids is indescribable. December 12, 2016 Children's Health Children's Medical Center
December 12, 2016 Pilots for Kids visited Children's Health Children's Medical Center in Dallas. PFK had over 27 pilots volunteer to help pass out toys to children at the hospital. The volunteers represented airlines from Southwest, UPS, American, Spirit and Express Jet. PFK had set up all the toys, balloons, pillow pets, and helicopters in the atrium where the patients were able to come down and receive their toys. There was also some crafts going on where the pilots and children got to interact. Great day of laughs and smiles all around.
